Open data

Open IoT reference dataset

Every catalogue record behind IoT Atlas, published as one machine-readable file. Free to reuse, including commercially, with attribution.

What is in the dataset

The file holds 1,541 records across eight record types, plus a translation map for the Spanish and French fields. Every record carries its own lastVerified date, so a downstream user can see how current any single row is.

The site publishes more pages than the dataset carries records: the dataset covers the reference centres and the two large directories. Category hubs, comparisons, marketplace rows and product pages are generated from the same catalogue and are linked from this file's sibling pages.

Fields and shape

JSON keyed by record type (brands, apps, clouds, certifications, compatibility, models, troubleshooting, protocols), with a counts summary, a translations map and a ready-made citation string. The current file was last modified on 2026-10-14.

What the dataset does not claim

Certification entries describe schemes and what they require; they are not legal advice and do not replace the official regulator or issuer text. Verify any decision that matters against the official source linked on each record.
