About

About IoT Atlas

An independent reference library for connected products: brands, companion apps, cloud platforms, protocols, certifications, models and troubleshooting guides, published in English, Spanish and French.

What this site is

IoT Atlas catalogues the parts of a connected product that buyers actually have to live with: the app that runs it, the protocol it speaks, the cloud it reports to, the certification it needs to be sold, and what to do when something stops working. Every entry is a static page with its source and verification date, so it can be read, linked and cited without JavaScript.

What it is not

IoT Atlas is not a certification body, a test laboratory, a reseller or a marketplace. It is not affiliated with any brand, app publisher or cloud provider it documents. Inclusion is not an endorsement or a guarantee of compatibility, safety or performance. Certification entries describe schemes and what they require; they are not legal advice and do not replace the official regulator or issuer text.

Marketplace ranks, prices and ratings shown on the site are sample data for layout review until a licensed source is connected.

How records are verified

Each record links to an official source and carries its own lastVerified date. App records state whether the store link is a direct listing or a store search. Where a claim cannot be confirmed against an official source it is omitted rather than estimated. The full process is on the methodology page.

Languages

Every indexable page is published in English, Spanish and French with matching hreflang declarations. Reference records carry translated titles and summaries in all three languages.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected and logged. Brands and manufacturers may request a correction, clarification or removal through the corrections policy, or by email to info@hi-spark.com.

Open data and citation

The catalogue is also published as a machine-readable dataset under CC BY 4.0 at dataset.html, with a ready-made citation string. The source repository is public at github.com/frankchenfei/hi-spark-iot-atlas.
