1. Scope
This policy explains how IoT Atlas may collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit the website, use tools, subscribe to updates, click partner links or contact us.
2. Information we collect
We may collect contact details, account information, device and browser data, approximate location derived from IP address, usage events, preferences, search queries, cookie identifiers and communications you send to us.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use information to operate the website, provide requested content, measure performance, prevent abuse, personalize experiences, comply with law and, where permitted, serve advertising. Depending on your location, legal bases may include consent, contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation.
4. Processors and third parties
This deployment keeps third-party processing to a minimum and gates all non-essential processing behind the consent banner.
- Hosting and delivery - the static host that serves the pages, and any CDN in front of it, process your IP address and request metadata to deliver the site and defend against abuse.
- Measurement (only after you accept) - one of Google Analytics 4, Plausible Analytics or Umami, depending on configuration. If you reject, no measurement script is requested and no measurement data is collected.
- Community (Supabase) - if you sign in to the community, Supabase processes your email address and the content you post on our behalf.
- Advertising - disabled in the current build. The reserved ad areas render as labelled placeholders and make no network request.
- Affiliate and store links - when you click through to an app store or vendor site, that third party processes the visit under its own policy. Links may include campaign parameters for attribution.
Stored in your browser: the site itself sets no cookies. It writes two local-storage items - your consent choice and your language preference. Neither is shared or used for advertising. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
4. Cookies and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential functionality, analytics, preferences and advertising. Where required, consent is collected before non-essential technologies are activated. You can manage cookies through the browser and any consent interface provided on the site.
5. Sharing and international transfers
Information may be shared with hosting, analytics, advertising, email, security, payment and affiliate partners. International transfers should use appropriate safeguards where required, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution and security. No system is completely secure, but reasonable technical and organizational measures should be used.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent. California, UK, EU and other residents may have additional rights. Identity verification may be required.
8. Children
The platform is not intended for children under the age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Contact and changes
Questions and rights requests should be sent to the privacy contact published on the production website. This policy may be updated, with the latest version and effective date shown on the page.
