1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies store or read information on your browser or device. They can support essential functionality, remember preferences, measure usage and support advertising.
2. Categories
Essential cookies are required for security, consent management and core functionality. Analytics cookies help measure traffic and performance. Preference cookies remember settings. Advertising cookies may be used to measure campaigns or deliver relevant ads where permitted.
3. Consent and controls
Where required by law, non-essential cookies are activated only after consent. You can withdraw or change consent through the cookie settings interface and browser controls. Blocking certain cookies may affect functionality.
4. What this site stores
The pages themselves set no cookies. To remember your choices the site writes two items to your browser's local storage:
- iot-consent — whether you accepted or rejected measurement, and when you decided. Kept until you change it.
- iot-lang — the language you selected (English, Spanish or French). Kept until you change it.
Both are first-party, are not used for advertising and are not shared. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
5. Third parties, only after you accept
Nothing is loaded from a third party until you choose Accept on the consent banner. If you choose Reject, no analytics or advertising script is requested at all.
When measurement is enabled this deployment uses one of Google Analytics 4, Plausible Analytics or Umami, depending on configuration. Each sets its own cookies or identifiers with its own retention period; the provider's privacy policy applies.
Advertising is disabled in the current build. The reserved ad areas render as labelled placeholders and make no network request. If advertising is switched on, the ad network's cookie and consent rules apply and the consent banner remains the control point.
6. Affiliate links
Links to app stores and vendor websites may carry campaign parameters so referrals can be attributed. Those parameters travel in the URL, not in a cookie.
7. Updates
The production website should publish a current cookie inventory, retention periods, providers and consent controls for each supported market.
